Performers like The Wolfe Brothers are putting Tasmanian on the map.
The brothers have come a long way since starting as a young band in Kingborough more than a decade ago.
The band's first album, which debuted last year, reached number two on the ARIA Country Chart, catapulting the brothers onto international stages as far away as Nashville.
Today, I am supporting their ambition to be the first Tasmanian music act to reach the number one spot on the ARIA Music Chart.
I urge all Tasmanians to get behind The Wolfe Brothers with the same support that secured the band runner-up on Australia's Got Talent.
To reach the top spot on the ARIA Music Chart would be a huge achievement. Tasmanian brands 7HO and Cascade have thrown their support behind the campaign and I encourage Tasmanians who enjoy the music to buy the album Nothin' But Trouble when it launches on September 5, or pre-order it, to help it reach the number one spot.
