I congratulate Senator Richard Colbeck on his appointment to the new Morrison Ministry with responsibility for Aged Care and Senior Australians, Youth and Sport.
Richard Colbeck has great experience, energy and passion which he will no doubt apply to these important portfolios.
I also congratulate Senator Jonathan Duniam on his appointment as Assistant Minister for Forestry and Fisheries and Regional Tourism, as well as Deputy Manager of Government Business in the Senate. Having worked with him for many years I know of his passion for these industries which are a pillar of Tasmania‘s economy.
Tasmania is well represented in Canberra by our whole Tasmanian Liberal team, and these appointments are an important recognition for Richard and Jonathan and of the importance of our state to the Morrison Government.
