Supporting training opportunities with Hamlet Cafe

The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to supporting opportunities to help Tasmanians find the job that is right for them.

I am very pleased to announce a government grant of $30,000 for Hamlet Café, which works with disadvantaged and vulnerable Tasmanians, including those with a disability, to gain new skills and work experience.

This funding will help Hamlet to expand its café operation to include catering services, providing a wider range of training opportunities and allowing the organisation to work with more Tasmanians.

It’s a great example of the Hodgman Liberal Government working with social entrepreneurs like Hamlet Café to make a real difference in people’s lives when it comes to employment opportunities.

We are committed to helping more Tasmanians find work and we will continue to invest in initiatives that provide real skills and connect individuals with jobs and their local communities.
