With our Roadmap to Recovery in place and gradual easing of restrictions to support a safe reboot of our economy, it’s positive to see innovative partnerships to assist industries hard hit by the pandemic.
This includes the new partnership between the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania (TICT) and the University of Tasmania, which offers industry-relevant places on scholarship, providing people at no cost study options usually worth thousands of dollars.
The initiative provides eligible Tasmanians the option to complete a new Graduate Certificate, in either Business Studies or Tourism, Environmental and Cultural Heritage, providing an opportunity for people to upskill during the COVID-19 related downturn in the tourism and hospitality sector.
