Stop Work Meetings

Public sector workers who take part in Stop Work action on Thursday will not be paid for the time they take off work.

Thursday's stop work meetings will have an impact on workplaces and families who have to keep their children home from school.

The Government will not be footing the bill for the unions' stop work meetings.

The Liberal Government was elected to fix the Budget mess and we will not be deterred.

We had a plan to save up to 500 of the Labor-Green job cuts left embedded in the Budget.

However instead of accepting a pay freeze and saving their members' jobs, the unions instead decided to play politics with their members jobs and are now playing politics with our schools and hospitals. Any additional job losses are now on their heads.
