I would like to encourage those in the Somerset community to get along to the Waratah-Wynyard Council’s information sessions relating to the council’s Draft Open Space Sport & Recreation Plan 2017-2027.
The session in Somerset will be held at 6pm on Wednesday 9 August at the Somerset Surf Club. This comes after a session held at Waratah-Wynyard Council Chambers on 2 August.
The draft plan will propose a long-term direction for the management of open space areas used by the community, including recreational and sporting grounds.
I know that many people in Somerset would like to have a say on the future use of Langley Park, and this forum is a good chance to do so.
This is part of a long term plan developed by both the Waratah-Wynyard and Circular Head Councils.
