Small business backs TasWater takeover

Survey results released by Sensis today show that more than twice as many small businesses support our Plan to takeover TasWater than oppose it.

This is another clear indication of the support for our Plan to takeover TasWater and shows similar results to a recent poll by the Property Council on the same issue.

Small business is backing our plan because they know it’s in the best interests of the State, the community, the economy and their business.

Our Plan will deliver a faster fix for the failing TasWater infrastructure, it will improve services and it will cap prices and keep them lower.

Our Plan is supported by TasCOSS, the TICT, the TCCI, the Property Council, Master Builders Association, developers, the broader Tasmanian community and judging by this survey, the small business community as well.

The only people who seem to oppose our Plan are the Labor Party and what the survey demonstrates once again is how out of touch with small business the Labor Party is.
