Singing the praises of the Choir of High Hopes

The Hodgman Liberal Government strongly supports the fantastic work of the Choir of High Hopes.

It was my great privilege today to present a cheque for $7,000 to the Choir on behalf of the Government, which will ensure the Choir can continue to provide amazing opportunities for the local community.

I am a great believer in the Choir of High Hopes.  The way it lifts spirits and creates confidence in the participants through the power of music and singing is inspiring.

The Choir was formed in 2007 and has 200 members, with nearly 60 people attending weekly rehearsals.

The Choir relies on the goodwill of the community and it’s important that the Government can lend a hand.

This small investment from the Government will deliver huge benefits for the community.
