Sanctimonious in Salamanca

How easy it must be for the Greens and their mates to be sanctimonious in Salamanca as they attack hardworking Tasmanian foresters.

How easy it must be to for them to sit there and attack the livelihoods of more than 5,700 forestry workers.

If the Greens, and their mates in the Wilderness Society, spent a little less time sipping soy lattes and did their homework they would see how important Tasmania’s sustainable forests are to our regions.

In stark contrast, the Hodgman majority Liberal Government has worked to rebuild the forestry industry decimated by Labor-Green Government lockups, and is committed to driving investment in the sector that will create jobs for Tasmanians.

But the real question is, does Rebecca White and Labor support jobs in our regions?

How can you trust Labor to support forestry workers and their jobs when Rebecca White and Labor vote 90 per cent of the time in Parliament with the Greens.

In fact, Rebecca White and Labor joined forces with the Greens to vote together supporting a motion for a return to the job-destroying lock-ups of their infamous anti-forestry deal just 11 days ago!

Actions speak louder than words and you simply cannot trust Labor and the Greens to protect forestry jobs.
