Safe Pathways Review

The children removed from Safe Pathways remain with alternative care providers.

The two reports on the financials and care standards of Safe Pathways indicate more investigation work is required before decisions can be taken about the future use of Safe Pathways as a provider of care for the DHHS.

In accordance with provisions under the Children, Young Persons and their Families Act, these reports cannot be publicly released.

As soon as these investigations are completed we will provide an update on the future of DHHS child care arrangements.

As noted previously, the funding currently paid to Safe Pathways moves with the children to the new providers. There is currently no funding going to Safe Pathways.
