Last Saturday, a major section of the Royal Hobart Hospital’s new helipad was successfully lifted into place on top of the new inpatient building under construction.
Hundreds of construction workers are busily fitting out the interior of the building installing electrical services, mechanical services, medical gasses and all the other things that will make this building a modern health facility for generations of Tasmanians to come.
The project remains on track for completion of the building mid-2019.
