The latest sewage spill at Rosny is further evidence of why the Tasmanian Government should take over TasWater.
Eastern Shore residents will be appalled to learn that raw sewage was pumped into the Derwent River at the weekend.
Quite frankly the proverbial should hit the fan at TasWater headquarters.
This is not good enough and makes a mockery of all the excuses TasWater has given to justify Tasmania’s third world water and sewerage services.
By taking over TasWater, the Tasmanian Government will be able to keep water and sewerage prices lower and importantly update failing sewerage infrastructure faster.
