The Hodgman Liberal Government is working on a package of measures to address additional demand in the Royal Hobart Hospital emergency department.
While our Patients First Action Plan has meant more patients are getting the care they need sooner, it’s clear that the Government needs to meet this extra demand.
The package of measures is in the early stages of development and of course I will be ensuring that the THS consults extensively in its development.
The RHH package will be announced in coming weeks but in the meantime Tasmanians can be assured that their needs will continue to be met at the hospital.
