Today I have accepted the resignation of the TasTAFE Chair, Mr Nick Burrows.
Mr Burrows was appointed to the Board in 2013 and whilst his term expires in June 2018, he has made the decision to leave now in the best interests of TasTAFE’s future, enabling a new Chair to oversee TasTAFE's new corporate plan.
Nicola Morris will be appointed Interim Chair and a recruitment process to fill the board vacancy will commence shortly.
The first quarter of the independent audit into TasTAFE is expected to be finalised shortly and the Government will release the audit as well as the Government’s response in coming weeks.
