Rebecca White’s Labor - No plan, no vision, just more talk

Labor under Ms White’s leadership is a failure, it is clear they have learnt nothing from their last four years in Opposition.

They have no plan, no vision, and the only policy they have offered up are endless talkfests instead of being straight with Tasmanians and telling them what they stand for.

Rather than putting forward a credible vision for our state by delivering an alternative budget, Ms White announced she is outsourcing her job to a dozen committees to be dominated by her union masters.

This feeble move, clearly demonstrates she is abandoning all of her election policies, including her signature anti-pokies policy.

It showed Ms White is desperate to distract from the slow demise of her leadership and the fact that David O’Byrne is already running the numbers behind her back.

Ms White knows that her Deputy, Michelle O’Byrne, is ready to turn on her at a moment’s notice, because blood is thicker than water.

Yesterday’s Budget Reply confirmed that only the Hodgman Liberal Government has a plan for the economy and for jobs, to deliver better essential services and the infrastructure our growing state needs.

Our Budget is the blueprint for our long term plan, and delivers on our commitments, on time and in full.

If you don’t have a plan for the future, you can’t possibly know where you’re going or how to get there.

Complaining is not a policy and whinging is not a platform, under Rebecca White, Labor is a party without a purpose or a plan.
