Promises Delivering our Long-Term Plan

The Liberal Government is serious about keeping our promises and delivering on our election commitments.

Each of our promises form part of our long-term Plan for Tasmania's future; a Plan Tasmanians voted for, and it's a plan they expect us to deliver.

We promised to rebuild frontline services and we are.

In March 2014 there were 1,110 police on the beat. In August 2014 there were 1,120 police, and there's another 40 in training.

We promised to rebuild health, and there's already an additional 10 ambulance officers compared to the election, with more nurses to come and already there's been more than 330 additional surgeries.

In education, we've employed an additional 25 literacy and numeracy teachers.

If Labor and the Greens had their way, none of this would happen. According to them, we should break our promises.

Each and every one of our election commitments forms part of our long-term Plan for Tasmania, to grow the economy, create jobs and strengthen front-line services.
