It
was with deep sadness that we learned of the death of Jeremy Ball.
Alderman Ball has served with integrity, compassion and conviction since he was
elected to the Launceston City Council in 2007, and Deputy Mayor in 2011.
He was an exceptional man who was closely connected to the community and worked
hard to champion the interests of his home city and our state.
On behalf of the Government we extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family at
this very difficult time.
