The Hodgman Liberal Government will spend up to $100,000 to investigate ways to improve how we deliver better end of life care in Northern Tasmania.
Honouring an election commitment, today I can announce the Government has appointed a preferred tenderer to conduct an independent feasibility study into a purpose-built hospice for Northern Tasmania, located in Launceston.
Grosvenor Management Consulting will commence the study this month and report back to the Government in January next year.

The findings of the Northern Hospice Feasibility Study will also be used in finalising the Tasmanian Palliative Care Policy Framework, which is due to be delivered by early next year.
