Northern Exposure funding program

The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to growing our vibrant arts sector as it creates jobs and stimulates the economy.

It was my pleasure today to launch the Northern Exposure funding program at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston.

Northern Exposure is a one-off funding program for regional Tasmanian artists and arts workers.

The program aims to support and encourage the cultural and creative industries in regional Tasmania.

Grants of up to $4 000 are available to individual artists, partnerships and collaborations undertaking projects that commence after 1 July 2016.

Applications to the program are now open, and applicants can seek support to undertake projects in any art form.

Northern Exposure will be administered by Tasmanian Regional Arts in partnership with the Tasmanian Government through Arts Tasmania.

Applications close 16 May 2016.
