Any promise Labor’s Rebecca White makes today is not worth the paper its scribbled on without an Alternative Budget.
Without an Alternative Budget, Ms White’s promises mean nothing.
Without an Alternative Budget, Ms White has zero credibility when it comes to budget management.
Without an Alternative Budget, Ms White can never seriously be considered leader of an Alternative Government.
It’s another major test of her leadership. Ms White has the opportunity to break away from Labor’s lazy history of failing to deliver an Alternative Budget.
Or, will she fail this test just as she failed at the Election, where she led Labor to its third worst election defeat in history.
Ms White is just trying to hide the fact that a Labor Alternative Budget would show that Labor has no real plan for Tasmania.
