New kindergarten at Bowen Road Primary School

Quality early years education is a key factor in lifting educational outcomes, which is why the Hodgman majority Liberal Government is investing more than $15 million in upgrades to early learning facilities and brand new kindergartens around the state.

One of those facilities will be at the Bowen Road Primary School, which is set to undergo a $1.4 million upgrade providing a new kindergarten with two flexible learning areas.

The upgrade includes significant improvements to the entrance area, which will improve disabled access and provide upgrades to external play areas.

Morrison & Breytenbach Architects has been commissioned to oversee this project that will deliver important improvements.

We want students to develop a life-long love of learning from a young age which is why we are ensuring they have access to state of the art facilities that are welcoming, safe and inclusive.

We will continue to deliver important upgrades for our kindergartens, with another tender being released this week to upgrade kindergarten classrooms at Dover District High School.

The Hodgman majority Liberal Government is committed to investment in education infrastructure across Tasmania and the 2019-20 State Budget invests $184.2 million for schools across the state.
