Tasmania’s economy is going from strength to strength under the Hodgman Liberal Government.
CommSec’s State of the States Report released yesterday reported that Tasmania recorded the fastest annual pace of economic growth over the last year in Australia, at double the national average.
And today’s Sensis Business Index has continued the good news, with the Report confirming support for the Government’s policies from small to medium businesses has risen to a record high, and double the nearest State.
Today, I was pleased to attend the official opening of the new Bank of us centre in Hobart.
Bank of us has given a vote of confidence to Tasmania as more people than ever are finding work and choosing Tasmania as the place to live and raise a family.
It’s another sign of the growing confidence in the State and yet more confirmation that our long-term plan is working to improve the lives of all Tasmanians.
