The Tasmanian economy is going from strength to strength under the Hodgman Liberal Government and businesses remain the most confident in the nation.
The latest NAB Monthly Business Survey for January 2019 showed that while confidence has deteriorated nationally, Tasmanian businesses continue to be Australia’s most confident.
The Survey confirms the State’s businesses were four times more confident than the national average at +13 points in trend terms.
The Government knows that confidence supports investment and jobs, which are our top priorities.
Business conditions in Tasmania are also the highest in the nation as the Government delivers on its growth-supporting infrastructure investment and policies.
This report from NAB is the latest in a line of independent reports to confirm that our economy is growing at its strongest rate in a decade.
