As has previously been stated, the Government is working closely with key parties to ensure the sewerage plant at Macquarie Point is relocated in a timely and cost effective manner.
Unlike Labor, whose policy is to privatise the asset and jack up water and sewerage prices, we are working closely with key parties to relocate the sewerage plant without burdening the tax payer with additional costs.
Labors policy of using superannuation funds is just a thought bubble which would significantly increase water and sewerage prices for customers as the super funds won't do this for free.
