There is just two weeks left for Tasmanian female sporting teams and clubs to take advantage of a $10 million grants program aimed at levelling the playing field.
Applications for the landmark initiative close on the 21st of June, with clubs or associations encouraged to submit an application before then.
There has already been a high level of interest from cricket and football organisations who are looking to update their existing facilities, or build entirely new amenities for their female participants.
With female sport participation at an all-time high, the Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to ensuring girls and women have access to the facilities they need.
This is by far the largest investment per capita in girls and women's facilities by any State or Territory Government. It proudly shows the Tasmanian Government's commitment to women's sport.
Applicants to the EOI process will be notified if they have been successful in moving to the next stage by 31st July 2018.
