Lazy Labor cannot be trusted with money

Bryan Green's admission today that Lazy Labor again won't do an alternative budget confirms Labor simply can't be trusted with Tasmania's budget.

Since coming to Government, we have turned Labor's $1.1 billion sea of red ink into a cumulative surplus, and we are now able to invest more into essential services such as health, education, and protecting the vulnerable.

Labor's pledge today to abandon job creation by abolishing the Office of the Coordinator-General and sacking all its staff is but a drop in the ocean compared to the spending they are promising.

It will create savings of only around $12 million maximum over four years, compared to the almost $1.5 billion in spending promises they have made over the same period.
