The Tasmanian Government notes that Elbit Systems have been unsuccessful in their bid for the Australian Defence Force’s Land 400 tender.
While this is a very disappointing result, we understand there remain very good prospects for Elphinstone to secure local work from the successful bidder.
It’s important to understand that Tasmania has not lost this bid. We continue to have the capability to deliver the local content that the Federal Government is committed to. We can still win this.
We will continue to work with the federal Government and Tasmanian businesses, such as Elphinstone, to ensure that Tasmania secures opportunity from this bid.
