Labor Leader Rebecca White’s priorities are all wrong.
In the Fairfax Media today, Ms White showed her inexperience by putting forward a plan to increase the size of the Tasmanian Parliament.
This is another example of the inward looking approach of Labor.
Instead of developing policies which will grow Tasmania’s economy and create jobs and opportunities for real Tasmanians, Ms White is focused on creating jobs for more politicians. It’s no coincidence that Labor is pushing this agenda, as it is also a priority of the Greens.
Ms White is making it very clear to the Greens, she is willing to side with them and increase the size of Parliament.
Meanwhile the Tasmanian Liberals are focusing on jobs, health and education because we understand this is what is important to Tasmanians.
Only a Hodgman Liberal Government can deliver the strong, stable majority Government Tasmania needs.
