Labor’s farcical position on gaming has become unsustainable

It is simply absurd that Labor has endorsed a candidate in the Pembroke by-election who is openly anti-gaming, yet they continue to claim that they somehow don’t have a gaming policy.

There are five venues in Pembroke which rely on poker machines to support their broader operations.

In the absence of any formal policy statement to the contrary, Pembroke voters will be entitled to believe that a vote for Labor is a vote to close those businesses, costing dozens of local jobs.
