Labor still playing politics with education

Today, on ABC Radio Michelle O’Byrne begrudgingly committed Labor to match funding for the redevelopment of Sorell School.

But bizarrely, Ms O’Byrne then went on to say Labor would need to have a “conversation” with the community before taking any action.

This, after 16 years in Government and four years in Opposition.

It’s obvious Labor will say one thing before the election and another after.

I’m calling on Opposition Leader Rebecca White to immediately take a stand on extending all schools to Years 11-12.

It’s a simple question Ms White: Will Labor stop its political game playing and simply agree the Liberal’s plan to extend all schools is the right thing for Tasmanian students?
