Labor still favours minority Government rule

Labor MP Lara Giddings has learnt nothing from her time leading the disastrous Labor Green minority Government.

Ms Giddings’ premiership was the most unstable and damaging period in recent Tasmanian political history.

She oversaw Tasmania’s descent into recession, the loss of 10,000 jobs and the state rusted on to the bottom of almost every possible economic indicator.

Yet today* Ms Giddings says her biggest achievement was “providing stable Government in a minority Parliament”.

Ms Giddings must be living in La La Land.

When asked what her biggest regret was, you would have thought Ms Giddings would have had the decency to admit her mistake in selling out Tasmania.

But no, Ms Giddings' only regret is not building a greenfields hospital at Macquarie Point – further evidence that Labor doesn’t support the current rebuild of the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Labor and Ms Giddings continue to be delusional, they are still out of touch and have learnt nothing from their dangerous experiment with the Greens.

Just look what happened to the people in every region in Tasmania, unemployment through the roof especially youth unemployment, businesses closed, nurses and police cuts to name just a few of the disasters they masterminded.
