Labor still beholden to the Greens

Despite their election trouncing, it's becoming increasingly clear that Labor is still beholden to the Greens.

First it was forestry.  Bryan Green still backs the job-destroying forestry deal, even though it was a complete disaster for families and communities in regional Tasmania, as well as for Labor at the ballot box.

Now Labor is backing the Greens' policy over eggs.  Both egg producers and the TFGA have welcomed the Liberals' changes to restore some common sense to what eggs the government can buy.  But Labor, and in particular Bryan Green, are clinging to the Greens' policy as if it were their own.

It's time Labor backed our common sense changes and accepted that they will be good for Tasmanian jobs.

The Liberal Government will make jobs and investment our number one priority.  Labor's number one priority is protecting the Greens' legacy.
