Today in Parliament Labor voted against my motion to support the extension of all Tasmanian High Schools to Year 12.
This means not only is Labor opposed to this highly successful initiative, it also means no Year 12 extension school is safe from being wound back, just like Labor’s Education spokesperson Michelle O’Byrne said she would.
This is in direct contrast to the Hodgman Liberal Government who have been working hard to fix an education system which was broken under the former Government.
