Today in Parliament, Labor officially voted against reopening 4WD tracks in the Arthur-Pieman.
Shamefully, Labor voted “no” on the voices to my motion but were too weak to call for a division – hoping no one would notice their pathetic sell-out of the Coast.
Labor has once again confirmed it has learned nothing from the trouncing it received from voters, particularly in Braddon, in 2014.
Mr Broad and Labor should be ashamed to show their faces in the electorate.
Labor is willing to cut the North West adrift if it means they can woo the Greens and slide into minority government.
Only the Liberals will work with the Australian Government to reopen the tracks for recreational four wheel driving.
And the people of Braddon know – the only way to get the tracks open, and to keep them open, is to vote for a majority Liberal Government.
*The Notice of Motion which Labor opposed read: That the House support the Government’s plan to reopen tracks 501, 503 and 601 in the Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area.
