Labor Drowning in Okehampton Bay

Labor is drowning in a sea of indecision and confusion over the Okehampton Bay fish farm development.

Yesterday, the hapless Josh Willie was sent out to face the music while Labor Leader Bryan Green remained in hiding for the fourth straight day.

Pressed on Labor's position on Okehampton Bay, the best the whinging Mr Willie could muster was that Labor would have a position in “coming months”.

This confusion comes after Mr Green earlier this month both opposed and supported the Okehampton Bay development in the same day.

Labor's confusion and indecision highlights this simple fact: They can't be trusted to stand up for aquaculture jobs, and they'll shut fish farming down to keep the Greens happy, just like they did with forestry.

Journalist: Where does Labor stand on Okehampton Bay?

Willie: Labor supports regional jobs in regional areas...we'll have more to say on this in coming months...

Journalist: So you don't support the view of Kevin Harkin (indistinct)?

Willie: Labor supports regional jobs, sustainable jobs in the fishing industry, we will have a very thought-out position on Okehampton Bay in the coming months.
