First Labor Policy Idea - Higher Taxes, More Debt

Today the President of Young Labor Adam Clarke confirmed his party wants to impose higher taxes and go into further debt.

Just one day after Labor Leader Bryan Green admitted Labor has no policies, no plan and proposes to "crowd source" ideas, Mr Clarke has answered the call and demanded more taxes and more debt.

Speaking about the Intergenerational Report on ABC's Leon Compton program, Mr Clarke said: "What we've got is a revenue problem.  And what we really need to do is look at where we can increase revenues from people..."

In other words, higher taxes.

He then went on to say:  "What we should actually be doing – this is a bit counterintuitive – is actually borrowing a lot more money, a lot more money and spending it on infrastructure, because borrowing costs are incredibly low…."

Labor hasn't learned, hasn't listened. It's no wonder they wrecked the budget.

Tasmanians simply cannot afford Labor's high tax, high debt policy and Mr Green must immediately reject Mr Clarke's call.
