Labor trying to walk both sides of the street on salmon

Member for Braddon, Adam Brooks, has today called out Labor for failing to condemn a salmon boycott being encouraged by the Greens.

“Yesterday Labor’s Shane Broad pointedly failed to join the Government in condemning this Environment Tasmania-led boycott which is designed to sabotage the industry”, Mr Brooks said.

“Labor are trying to walk both sides of the street on salmon. We all remember how then-spokesperson Bec White was in hiding for days following the approval of Okehampton Bay, based on the science.

“It’s clear that Labor are soft on salmon and they will trade away real people and their real jobs to keep the Greens happy, just like they did with forestry.”
