I welcome the Federal Treasurer’s announcement today to reappoint Dale Elphinstone, Professor Janelle Allison, Chris Oldfield, and Wayne Bould to the Joint Tasmania Economic Council.
All have been positive contributors to the Council, which has helped deliver excellent outcomes for the state, including a game-changing $200 million boost for freight, and the $90 million tranche 2 irrigation scheme.
I look forward to continuing to work with the business members of JTEC, and the Federal Government, to continue to grow the economy and create even more jobs in our State.
