It is disappointing for many Tasmanian travellers and visitors to experience flight cancellations for the next three days as a result of industrial action.
At one of the busiest travelling times of the year, for the country’s best tourism state, this disruption is very unwelcome.
The Tasmanian Government has been in contact with Jetstar management who have advised steps are being taken to minimise impact on their customers. This includes supplementary services provided through Qantas and QantasLink flights.
We hope to see a very swift resolution to the situation to ensure people are not impacted any further.
