Housing Connect has been working at numerous locations throughout Greater Hobart to find and help those in need of secure housing.
Housing Connect staff were on the ground at the Showgrounds yesterday to offer assistance to those in need and connected with everyone on site at the time. I am advised four people have taken up the offer of assistance.
While some people chose to stay, Housing Connect staff were on site today to again offer assistance, including relocating anyone who wishes to move from the Showgrounds or other locations around Hobart.
I thank all the hardworking staff at Housing Connect and other service providers who are helping those in need.
