Horror week for disunited Labor, Green under pressure

A horror week has ended for Labor with leader Bryan Green under pressure from within his own party amid internal squabbling trying to pension off two long-serving Labor MPs.

During the week it was revealed that Mr Green has established a new fishing business 300 km from his electorate office which he falsely claimed - or did he? - to be running at the same time as he tries to be Leader of the Opposition.

By the end of the week union power-brokers were trying to force former Premier Lara Giddings into retirement so that former unionist David O'Byrne could enter the Parliament and take over as Leader of the Opposition.

To top it off, Mr Green launched a disastrous water and sewerage policy which won't fix the immediate problems, and which would privatise water and sewerage with price rises of 18 per cent.

It's clear - only the united Liberals have a Plan for Tasmanian's future, the dysfunctional and self-interested Labor Party simply aren't ready for Government.
