I welcome the fact that the Parliament has today passed important legislation which will support the provision of additional housing for vulnerable Tasmanians.
The Bill includes additional safeguards inserted after consultation with community sector stakeholders which will ensure that the rights of vulnerable Tasmanians are protected.
I call on Labor to now cease their ideological and dishonest scaremongering, and to stop attacking the community sector who are doing so much to support vulnerable Tasmanians in need.
