Today we have received confirmation that Cameron Goss has been recovered from Henty Gold Mine. Following what has been a complex operation, our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Goss’ family, loved ones and the broader west coast community.
The Tasmanian Government commends all those involved in the recovery efforts, including workers at the Henty Gold Mine, the mine’s owners - Diversified Minerals, and Tasmanian emergency services personnel.
Tasmania’s west coast is a close knit community and the effects of this tragedy are wide reaching. We would like to again express the full support of the Tasmanian Government.
