Helping Tasmanians win Government business

Tasmanian businesses can this week take advantage of a series of state-wide workshops to help them win government business by improving their tender-writing skills.

The Hodgman Liberal Government has provided $200,000 through the Department of State Growth to deliver a four-year Winning Government Business Program.

This investment will see local businesses better positioned to win government tenders and unlock job creating investment.

Following last year’s successful Tendering Basics Forum, which was attended by 150 people, the Tendering Masterclass Workshops in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport this week will provide practical advice on the next stages.

The workshops will allow businesses to hear from tender-writing experts on issues such as addressing selection criteria, pre-qualification and what should be included to maximise the chance of winning the work.

The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to creating jobs and helping local businesses grow and invest and winning government work is a vital part of that process.

Those interested in attending should visit www.business.tas.gov.au  or phone 1800 440 026 to reserve a place at one of the following venues or simply book through the relevant Eventbrite link below.
