Health White Paper advertising

This week the Hodgman Liberal Government has outlined its plan to fix Tasmania’s broken health system.

It is very pleasing that our plan has been broadly welcomed. Given the significance of the changes, it is incumbent on us as a Government to communicate what it will mean to the public.

We make no apologies for providing information to the public on a major policy change that will affect thousands of Tasmanians.  In fact, it would be negligent if we didn’t inform the community about the decisions we have made regarding the health system.

To date the advertising spend on the One State, One Health System, Better Health Outcomes reforms has been $42,515 + GST.

The campaign is entirely factual, and has included awareness raising promotion of the Issues Paper, Green Paper and draft White Paper, along with information about how people could have their say on the proposed changes. It also included such things as the advertising of public forums about the proposed changes.
