My very best wishes to Greg Howard who was today elected as the new Mayor of Dorset and also to Leonie Stein who was elected as a councillor.
Greg was Deputy Mayor and a close friend to the former Mayor Barry Jarvis who tragically died last month.
I am certain that Greg will be a vocal and committed Mayor when it comes to representing the interests of his community.
He has a long history in the region through his sport and business contacts and I am sure he will do a fantastic job in his new position.
The Hodgman Liberal Government wishes Mayor Howard and Councillor Stein along with the other members of the Dorset Council and the Dorset community a successful and prosperous future.
