Green can run, but he can't hide

Labor leader Bryan Green must come out of hiding and clearly state what his position is on Okehampton Bay.

It's been three days since the independent Marine Farm Planning Review Panel have given the Okehampton Bay fish farm the green light, but Labor has yet to state their position.

Labor are trying to dodge scrutiny on this issue because they would sell the industry out in half a second in order to keep the Greens happy - just like they did with forestry.

On radio earlier this month, Mr Green opposed the development, only to change his mind a few hours later at a media conference.

Labor are also hoping to walk both sides of the street on this issue in order to try and get electoral advantage from those opposed to Okehampton Bay - telling different things to different people, depending on the situation.

We've already seen Labor heavy-weight Kevin Harkins, who set up the Recreational Fishers Party during the federal election campaign in order to harvest votes for Labor - with $75,000 in donations from the CFMEU and CEPU - has come out in opposition to the development.

No doubt Labor will again use him to try and harvest anti-fish farming support for themselves.

It's time for Mr Green to come clean - does he support the Okehampton Bay fish farm - yes, or no?
