Yesterday, the Leader of the Opposition again demonstrated Labor’s unique ability to walk both sides of the street with an extraordinary backflip on the Mount Wellington Cable Car.
Just 23 days ago, Labor voted in support of the cable car legislation in the Legislative Council without so much as even moving an amendment.
Yet yesterday, Ms White told the ABC that “we would like to have seen a tender process” and “we’d encourage her [Minister Archer] to look at this with an open tender process first and foremost.”
The fact that Labor are prepared to abandon a policy that they voted for just 23 days ago should send shivers through every potential investor in Tasmania.
This again demonstrates, with Labor, you just don’t know what you’re getting.
