This year’s Estia Greek Festival commemorates 25 years celebrating the culture, heritage and tradition of our Australian Greek community.
Events celebrating the many vibrant cultures in Tasmania are important in that they strengthen community ties and promote understanding of the diverse cultural groups that call Tasmania home.
Presented by the Hellenic-Australian community, the festival is a showcase of Greek music, dancing, sport, language and cultural studies, and of course delicious food and drink.
The Festival has grown in popularity over the years, and typically attracts around 10,000 people seeking a taste of Greek culture.
The Tasmanian Government has been a proud supporter of the Festival for many years and we are delighted to again support the 2018 celebrations.
Congratulations to the Tasmanian Greek community and the many volunteers who have worked hard over many years to make the Estia Greek Festival the great success that it is.
