Dunalley students back to school in their new facilities

Dunalley Primary School will welcome students back for Term Four on Monday.

Following the completion of building works to remediate defects and water damage, I am happy to advise expert testing shows the site is safe.

It is great to see Dunalley Primary School’s students now able to take full advantage of the new facilities at the rebuilt school site.

I know Dunalley Primary School has not had the easiest of circumstances over recent years, but the Hodgman Liberal Government has committed the resources needed to ensure the teaching and learning program at the school can continue.

We will all work together to create a brighter future for the school and it’s students.

I’d particularly like to acknowledge the exceptional work of the Department and school staff who supported students and the local community while providing a positive learning environment and a cohesive school spirit.

And I’d like to thank the school community for their patience, support and understanding throughout this difficult period.

I would also like to recognise the generosity of the Sorell Council and the local community whose support enabled the ongoing quality education of the children who attend the school.
